  • La Boulangerie, Bakery in Logan Sq
    • Baguettes,croissants, crepes
    • Most breads baked fresh several times a day
  • Logan Square Farmers Market
    • Wheat Boule (hearty round bread) from Crumb.  Plus seasonal fruit breads.  Best Breads Ever.
    • Rare Bird Preserves – Best lemon Blueberry Jam, try with baguette from La Boulange
    • Fresh Arugula, Carrots, peaches, etc. (some vendors are better than others, vendor names coming soon)
  • Dill Pickle Food Co-op
    • Fresh greens, mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, apples, other seasonal fruit
    • Coop Sauce – mexican hot sauces, love ’em all, favs are Mole and Green Jalepeno.
    • Ezekiel 4:9 cereal
  • Trader Joes
    • TJ Frozen Naan (2 mins in toaster oven == fresh bread), good with indian food or spagetti sauce topped with mozzarella.
    • TJ Indian food in boxes (eggplant, potatoes, chickpeas .. green curry tuna)
    • Kerrygold Dubliner cheddar cheese
    • TJ Pulled pork with sauce, frozen. Best pork ever.
    • TJ Fresh Salsa, Hot
    • TJ Hummus
    • TJ Mixed nuts w/o peanuts, 50% less salt
    • TJ Mixed berries + Go Lean cereal (or Ezekiel from Dill Pickle) + Yogurt (TJ organic low-fat or goat milk)
    • peanut butter Cliff bars (99 cents) and other protein and health bars
  • Costco
    • Morton’s Tri-Tip steak, marinated and frozen. Best steak ever.
